Bob Roe

Chief Executive Officer

Experience: 41 years

Bob Roe joined TrustComm as Chief Executive Officer in March 2012.

Mr. Roe has more than 41 years’ experience as a satellite communications professional, including senior management positions with Stratos Global group from 1998-2011.

Prior to joining TrustComm, Mr. Roe served for more than five years as President and CEO of Stratos Government Services Inc. (SGSI) where he led highly successful programs to meet the COMSATCOM needs of Dept. of Defense and other federal and state agencies.  Under his leadership, SGSI deployed commercial satellite communications infrastructure for the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Navy Military Sealift Command, and several other military agencies.

From 2006-11, Mr. Roe also served as Chairman of the Mobile Satellite Users Association.

Prior to his career in commercial satellite communications, Mr. Roe served 22 years in the U.S. Navy as a communications and intelligence officer.  His assignments included surface shipboard tours on cruisers and aircraft carriers, airborne commands in C-130 Hercules aircraft TACAMO Surveillance program, and Mobile Communications Units in Desert Storm.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management and a Master of Science Degree with honors in Business Management from National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois.

Ian Canning

Chief Operating Officer

Experience: 30 years

Ian Canning has more than 30 years’ experience in the global satellite communications and telecommunications industries. He joined TrustComm as Chief Operating Officer in January 2012. In this position, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company along with leading the development of the innovative solutions TrustComm brings to market.

Prior to joining TrustComm, Mr. Canning held many senior management positions for Stratos Global Corp., the leading global provider of advanced mobile and fixed-site remote communications solutions. He was responsible for Stratos’ global product and marketing portfolio, generating more than $700 million from advanced remote communications solutions, including the Stratos Advantage range of value-added services.

Positions held during his tenure at Stratos included Vice President, Global Product Marketing (2010-11), Vice President, Marketing and Product Management (2007-10), Stratos’ Managing Director, EMEA and Vice President, Sales (2004-07), and Director, EMEA and Asia (1999-2001).

In addition, Mr. Canning’s experience includes posts with other leading players in the commercial satellite communications industry. From 2001-03, Mr. Canning served as Director, Business Development EMEA and later as Director, Sales EMEA for Iridium Communications Inc. From 1995-99, Mr. Canning served as Manager, Partnership Program for Inmarsat. From 1983-99, he held senior sales positions with a variety of electronics and telecommunications companies, including Nortel Networks, Motorola Codex, and Racal Datacom.

Mr. Canning earned an MBA from London’s Greenwich School of Management.

Vineet Puri

Chief Financial Officer

Experience: 25 years

Vineet Puri currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at TrustComm. In this role, he has responsibility for managing TrustComm’s finance, compliance, strategic planning, human resources, and contracts. Mr. Puri is also Senior Finance Executive at Weissker Group, with investments in technology and energy industries, where he has various roles as Senior Advisor/CFO at group companies.

Mr. Puri brings over 25 years of extensive experience in finance operations, strategic planning, treasury, M&A and risk management; gained at mid-size to multi-billion dollar global operations in technology, communications, professional services, defense and energy industries; focused on commercial and government customers.

Before joining TrustComm and Weissker Group, Mr. Puri was SVP and Chief Financial Officer at MicroTech (2012-13), a $340 million provider of information technology and products. Mr. Puri was responsible for managing MicroTech’s finance, accounting, treasury, compliance, risk management, and pricing functions.

In the satellite communications industry, he held the position of Vice President of Finance at Inmarsat Stratos (2007-12), where he was responsible for managing financial oversight of Stratos Government Services Inc., a leading mobile satellite services provider to government, with revenues over $150 million. In addition, Mr. Puri served as Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Intelsat (2000-2007), the largest global satellite communications provider with revenues over $2.0 billion. He played an integral role in mergers and acquisitions (ranging from $100M to $6B), business ventures, global business development, corporate strategy, product development, and profitability improvement.

He has also held positions at American Management Systems Inc. (now CGI Group) and Information Systems and Networks Corp.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors of Commerce from University of Delhi.

Douglas Whitworth

VP Finance

Experience: 30 years

Mr. Whitworth joined the TrustComm team in 2006 and brings over 30 years of service in the financial sector.  He has proven ability to manage within complex environments and deliver strong financial accountability. He began his career with KPMG where he developed a solid base of accounting knowledge and skills by providing accounting and tax services to a wide range of industries.  Prior to joining TrustComm, Mr. Whitworth was CFO of a telecommunications technology company where he assisted in maintaining a 50% annual growth rate over four years and architected its acquisition of a complementary Silicon Valley technology company.  As manager of financial research for American General Corporation, he led the team responsible for external financial reporting including annual and quarterly reports and SEC reports and filings.

Mr. Whitworth is active in his community, volunteering his time as a Cub Scout leader and currently serves as Chairman of the Houston CPA Society’s CFO/Controllers Conference Committee.  He married his wife Christina in 2007, and together they have a large blended family.

He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Jennifer Maus

Director, Human Resources

Experience: 15 years

Jennifer Maus joined TrustComm in April of 2007, and now serves as Director, Human Resources. Ms. Maus has over 15 years of experience in human resources, as well as operations and finance within the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining TrustComm, Ms. Maus served as an Operations Manager for a private telecommunications company where she successfully ran daily operations, as well as managed areas of human resources and finance.

Ms. Maus specializes in talent management, employee learning and development, employee benefits, resource and budget management, organizational development, and employee relations. In these areas,

Ms. Maus has been successful in developing and implementing on-boarding practices, performance management, and benefits management.

Ms. Maus studied music at the University of Houston to earn a B.A., and she earned her Masters in Strategic Human Resources Management from Michigan State University.

Mark Bresnahan

VP & General Counsel

Experience: 35 years

As the VP & General Counsel of TrustComm since June 2016, Mr. Bresnahan is responsible for all company legal and regulatory matters.

Prior to joining TrustComm, Mr. Bresnahan served as the VP, General Counsel and Secretary for Spacenet Inc., a global provider of satellite and terrestrial services, for nearly 20 years, beginning with GE’s acquisition of Spacenet and continuing while Spacenet was owned by Gilat Satellite Networks, Ltd.  Mr. Bresnahan has led global and domestic initiatives for business transactions as well as for acquisitions and integration of companies in Europe, the U.S., and South America. He has managed the regulatory affairs, licensing and compliance with the FCC, the Department of Commerce, the Department of State, the Department of Defense and the International Telecommunications Union. Mr. Bresnahan’s involvement was essential in driving company growth and diversification.

Mr. Bresnahan has been active in the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), including as Co-Chair of the ACC National Capital Region’s Advanced Contracts Conference – Spring 2015 and Fall 2013.

Mr. Bresnahan earned his BA in Political Science from the College of The Holy Cross and a Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University National Law Center.

Carole Hochberg

Company Secretary/VP Contracts

Experience: 35 years

Carole A. Hochberg is responsible for managing TrustComm’s contracting requirements.

Prior to joining TrustComm in 2012, Ms. Hochberg worked for 13 years for Stratos Global Corp. From 1998-2006, she served as Stratos’ Director, Contracts & Legal, where she managed a staff of attorneys with responsibility for all global corporate transactions. From 2006-12, she served as Director, Contracts & Legal for the Stratos business unit Stratos Government Services Inc., which focused exclusively on sales to the U.S. military.

Ms. Hochberg was instrumental in supporting Stratos’ growth from a regionally focused North American company to a global provider of satellite services. She accomplished this through integration of acquisitions, establishment of the Company’s global U.S. Export Compliance Program and creation of the Company’s innovative, Internet-based contracting process for the sale of mobile and fixed satellite services and equipment.

Prior to joining Stratos, Ms. Hochberg held contract management positions with COMSAT, GTE Spacenet, and CONTEL, gaining extensive experience in commercial and military sales worldwide.

She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree, Cum Laude, in Business and Management from the University of Maryland University College.

Anthony Sellers

VP Wireless Group

Experience: 24 years

Anthony Sellers has 24 years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering wired and wireless telecommunication solutions for both commercial and government applications.  He joined TrustComm as Vice President of the Wireless Group in August 2017.

Prior to joining TrustComm, Mr. Sellers served as the Vice President of Wireless and IoT for Globecomm Systems Inc.  In this role, he was responsible for Globecomm’s wireless and IoT product portfolios and oversaw all wireless activity for both commercial and government verticals.  Mr. Sellers has also held executive roles in other organizations, including TLC Solutions, a company he co-founded and served as the Chief Operating Officer.

In addition, Mr. Sellers is a veteran of the US Army and is a recipient of the Presidential Service Badge.  He earned this distinction by serving in direct support of the President of the United States.

Mr. Sellers holds a BS in Business Management with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Post University, Waterbury, Connecticut.
