–Company also selected as subcontractor for U.S. Army’s GTACS award–

Stafford, Va., April 16, 2013 – TrustComm Inc., the premier small-business provider of secure COMSATCOM solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), today announced it has completed its reorganization under new ownership.

TrustComm was acquired by the American investor group Global Secure Networks Inc. (GSN). The TrustComm company name will be retained. The GSN investor group is led by Bob Roe, who has served as TrustComm’s CEO since March 2012. Roe has more than 35 years experience in government and commercial satcom, including 22 years in the U.S. Navy as a communications and intelligence officer.

The GSN equity infusion is enabling TrustComm to expand its operations and continue its high level of professional service to U.S. government agencies.

From its secure teleport and network operations center (S-NOC) at Ellington Field Base in Houston, TrustComm has successfully deployed a wide range of managed satellite networking solutions to many government agencies and commercial enterprises since 1999. TrustComm recently opened its new corporate headquarters with an expanded executive team and fully redundant S-NOC at the Quantico Corporate Center in Stafford, Va.

TrustComm helps fulfill U.S. Army’s GTACS contract

TrustComm today also announced it will serve as a subcontractor to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC; NYSE: SAI) in its fulfillment of the Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems and Services (GTACS) IDIQ multiple-award contract from the U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T). The award enables SAIC to compete for task orders under the five-year contract, which has a total value of $10 billion.

“Finalizing our new ownership is the latest major step in the transformation of TrustComm into the foremost, dedicated provider of secure government COMSATCOM solutions,” Roe said. “Going forward, we expect to continue our expansion to maintain our strict adherence to the DoD’s demanding information-assurance and operational-security requirements.”

He concluded, “Working with SAIC to help meet the U.S. Army’s secure COMSATCOM needs under the GTACS contract provides us with a key opportunity to deliver world-class support to PEO C3T.”

–Award enables federal government to purchase COMSATCOM solutions directly from TrustComm–

Stafford, Va., February 12, 2013 – TrustComm Inc., the premier small-business provider of secure COMSATCOM solutions to the U.S. Dept. of Defense (DoD), today announced it has been awarded a General Services Administration (GSA) contract and inclusion on GSA’s IT Schedule 70.

As the federal government’s largest, most widely used acquisition vehicle, Schedule 70 enables TrustComm to directly provide government agencies with easy access to its comprehensive COMSATCOM offering.

This award expands TrustComm’s ability to deploy global, managed COMSATCOM solutions for the DoD.

Under Special Item Numbers (SINs) created by the GSA and under DISA’s Future COMSATCOM Services Acquisition (FCSA) program, TrustComm will provide Transponded (SIN 132-54) and Subscription (SIN 132-55) services. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract award covers a period of five years with three, five-year renewal options. TrustComm’s GSA Schedule 70 contract number is GS-35F-195AA.

“With the recent expansion of our corporate capabilities and personnel, we are ideally situated to provide the most advanced COMSATCOM solutions supported by the highest levels of customer service,” said TrustComm CEO Bob Roe. “This Schedule 70 award enables us to maintain these high standards for all government and commercial customers.”

Roe concluded, “As a responsive, small-business contractor with ample resources, we look forward to working directly with DoD contracting officers to fulfill their complex, global connectivity requirements.”

About the GSA IT Schedule 70 contract

The GSA IT Schedule 70 contract streamlines the ability of all U.S. federal agencies, as well as state and local governments, to purchase a wide range of IT, network and satellite communications products and services from approved vendors. It also provides a streamlined process for blanket purchase agreements, compliance with federal acquisition regulations, and an easy online ordering process.

The FCSA program recently replaced a number of Defense Intelligence Systems Agency (DISA) and GSA contract vehicles, including DSTS-G, Inmarsat DITCO, and SATCOM II. The Transponded services SIN includes leasing of short and long-term satellite bandwidth for most frequency bands and transponder configurations. The Subscription services SIN includes provision of predefined fixed satellite service (FSS) and mobile satellite service (MSS) solutions to support connectivity requirements worldwide requiring Internet, corporate data, voice and/or video services.

Stafford, Va., November 5, 2012 – TrustComm Inc., the premier small-business provider of secure COMSATCOM solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense, today announced the opening of its new federal government solutions facility at the Quantico Corporate Center in Stafford, Va. The Quantico facility serves as TrustComm’s new executive headquarters and new fully redundant, secure network operations center (S-NOC).

With its primary teleport operations and S-NOC at the highly secure Ellington Field Base in Houston, TrustComm has served government and commercial markets since 1999.

TrustComm today also announced the addition of Rodrigo Gomez as Chief Technology Officer, Jim Tran as Chief Sales Officer and six other highly experienced telecom professionals to its executive team. Today’s announcements have enabled TrustComm to greatly expand its service to the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).

With the expansion of the TrustComm team, the Company’s skills and capabilities now include special-operations network design, intelligence data collection, exploitation and data mining, design of end-to-end turnkey network solutions, and IT security. Each member of the team is a subject-matter expert in their field, with both direct and indirect U.S. government experience.

Jim Tran brings more than 16 years of telecom experience to his new position as TrustComm’s Chief Sales Officer. He previously served as Vice President, Government Services for Harris CapRock in Fairfax, Va.

Rodrigo Gomez brings more than 15 years of telecom experience to his new post as TrustComm’s Chief Technology Officer. His previous experience includes senior engineering positions with Stratos Global Corp. (Bethesda, Md.) and SES Americom, one of the world’s largest satellite operators.

“Our new Quantico facility, redundant S-NOC and the addition of these skilled executives demonstrate our commitment to becoming one of the preeminent providers of trusted satellite solutions to U.S. defense agencies,” said TrustComm CEO Bob Roe. “These conveniently located facilities will enable us to continue providing unsurpassed levels of customer service, solutions performance and network security.”

Roe concluded, “Our new, highly experienced executives have intimate knowledge of the land, maritime and aero markets, making them ideally suited to address the DoD’s strict COMSATCOM specifications.”

Tran added, “As a small business with large business resources, TrustComm has the agility and flexibility to meet evolving DoD requirements. TrustComm is ideally positioned to maximize budgets and respond quickly to opportunities as a contractor, sub-contractor or partner.”

–Government satcom veteran Bob Roe appointed as new Chief Executive Officer–

Houston, Tex., March 12, 2012 – TrustComm Inc., a global provider of secure satellite communications services, today announced it has made significant changes to its senior management team as part of its renewed focus on providing customized solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).

The Company appointed satellite industry veteran Bob Roe as its new Chief Executive Officer. Roe has more than 30 years experience in government and commercial satcom, including senior management positions with Stratos Global Corp. from 1998-2011.

Most recently, Roe served for more than five years as CEO of Stratos Government Services Inc. (SGSI) where he led highly successful programs to meet the COMSATCOM needs of the DoD and federal agencies. From 2006-12, he also served as chairman of the Mobile Satellite Users Assoc. Prior to his career in commercial satcom, Roe served 22 years in the U.S. Navy as a communications and intelligence officer.

Further strengthening TrustComm’s new management team is the addition of Ian Canning as Chief Operating Officer. Canning has more than 25 years experience as a senior executive with Stratos Global Corp., Inmarsat, Iridium and other leading companies in the satellite and telecommunications sectors. Canning most recently served as Stratos’ vice president, global product marketing.

Former TrustComm President and CEO Robert Kubbernus will serve as Chairman of the Board.

With its network operations center (NOC) at the secure Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base in Houston, TrustComm has served government and commercial markets since 1999. In December 2011, TrustComm sold its subsidiaries TrustComm International Inc. and SkyPort Maritime Inc. as part of its strategy to focus on the U.S. DoD market.

“These important additions to our leadership team are among the first major steps we are taking to demonstrate our commitment to the U.S. DoD market,” Kubbernus said. “Bob Roe is the ideal professional to lead our new endeavor. His successful tenure with SGSI, his strong government contacts and his distinguished military service make him one of the nation’s most qualified government satcom executives.”

Kubbernus added, “With his vast experience in the telecom sector, we also believe Ian Canning is perfectly suited to manage our government marketing efforts and assume responsibility for TrustComm’s day-to-day operations. Ian and Bob have worked well together for more than 12 years. They are committed to making TrustComm the leading small-business satellite contractor to the U.S. government.”

New TrustComm CEO Bob Roe said, “With an intimate knowledge of DoD requirements, a secure NOC facility and a management team that possess nearly 100 years combined satcom experience, TrustComm now has the precise requirements to quickly support mission readiness and security anywhere in the world.”

April 6, 2011
Houston, TX

TrustComm, Inc. announced today that it has partnered with AboveNet, Inc. (NYSE:ABVT), a leading provider of high bandwidth connectivity solutions. AboveNet will provide fiber optic services to connect TrustComm, Inc. with the many leading oil and gas companies in Houston, Texas that link to the African continent via TrustComm satellite.

AboveNet’s diverse fiber paths installed at TrustComm’s Houston teleport facilities can now provide significant fiber capabilities from the TrustComm Network Center to the head offices of the major operators in Houston. With many of the world’s oil and gas companies headquartered in Houston, Texas, the need for robust data delivery to foreign operations has become mission critical.

TrustComm’s teleport is comprised of 12 antenna systems ranging from 4.5M to 13M and can deliver services to customers in C-, Ku, Ka and X-band. TrustComm’s Network Center has satellite visibility for the entire United States including Alaska, Canada, the Gulf of Mexico, Central and South America, Europe; Africa and portions of the Middle East.

TrustComm’s self-owned and operated global NOC and teleport reside on Ellington Joint Reserve Base. The Base has been designed as a joint task force facility, and will be home to all area National Guard units. The Base is also the site of various NASA operations and is adjacent to NASA’s Johnson Space Center. The site is entirely secure with multiple protection devices and is patrolled 24/7 by military police. The proximity of these military and aerospace operations furnishes TrustComm’s facility with a level of security unmatched in the industry. TrustComm’s NOC and teleport include redundant, diversely routed, high-speed fiber connections and back-ups.

In 2010, TrustComm began designing satellite solutions specifically for Africa, adding to its Trusted Network portfolio. TrustComm has dedicated a 13 meter antenna at its Houston teleport in order to provide a wide range of fully managed solutions to and from the Americas and Africa.

“To extend our network reach here in the U.S., we sought out a partner whose philosophy for delivering highly reliable, managed services met ours, and we selected AboveNet,” said Robert Kubbernus, president and chief operating officer of TrustComm Inc. “Integrating AboveNet as a service partner into our portfolio sharply improves our network reach, performance, and ability to provide global door to door services.”

This new service offers clients one of the industry’s most robust end-to-end fiber and satellite integrated networks available. Benefits for TrustComm customers will be significant. Among them, latency will be reduced as a result of delivering services directly from Africa to Houston, and network security will be enhanced by reducing the number of foreign countries customer’s data must travel through in order to reach its final destination.

“As major corporations deploy enhanced software solutions across their networks, we are pleased to provide our significant fiber assets to enable a direct line approach from West Africa into TrustComm’s Houston Network Center,” said John “Joc” Jacquay, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AboveNet.

About AboveNet: AboveNet, Inc. provides high bandwidth connectivity solutions for business and carriers. Its private optical network delivers key network and IP services in and among top U.S. metro markets and globally. AboveNet’s network is widely used in demanding markets such as financial services, media, health care, retail and government

About TrustComm, Inc.:TrustComm is a World-Class communications carrier providing reliable, managed, secure networks, broadband internet, VoIP, video; wireless and terrestrial communication services for the energy, enterprise and government industries, as well as for disaster recovery agencies. With our global network, engineering expertise, 24 x 7 network operations center, and owned infrastructure at the highly secure Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base in Houston, TrustComm exceeds the security and reliability standards of its clients.

Houston, TX

TrustComm is pleased to announce that its subsidiary SkyPort Maritime, Inc. has entered into a global partnership agreement with an international maritime communications organization currently supporting a global fleet of over 1,000 maritime vessels. The agreement includes the roll out of SkyPort Maritime’s shipboard VSAT, Wi-Fi, 3G/4G and network services to this organization’s global customer base.

SkyPort Maritime’s communication solutions will include TruePort Wi-Fi, TrueSat VSAT, and TrueG 3G. SkyPort Maritime will integrate its solutions into the existing solutions already in place and supported by the new international partner.

TrustComm and SkyPort have a long history of providing broadband satellite and terrestrial communication services to their clients. In 2010, SkyPort Maritime added two new service offerings to its maritime portfolio, TruePort Wi-Fi solution and TrueG 3G/4G. TruePort Wi-Fi offers Wi-Fi access in major ports around the world allowing for the fastest and least expensive communication solution for vessels while at a terminal. The TrueG 3G/4G solution offers clients access to 3G/4G services while in port and near shore. SkyPort Maritime worked closely with AT&T to establish this global 3G/4G network. Earlier this year, SkyPort Maritime announced that MVS would become its exclusive supplier of Inmarsat and Iridium services, and last week, the two companies announced an innovative strategic expansion of their relationship thereby creating the only complete maritime communication solution offered in the industry.

Claude Church – Managing Director of SkyPort Maritime stated, “We’re looking forward to working with such a well established organization as they expand their services onboard the global fleet of vessels they currently support. Their superior customer relationships and track record in the maritime industry makes them an exceptional partner for us to work with at SkyPort Maritime.”

The roll out of the SkyPort Maritime combined communication solution to this new distribution partner is to begin immediately. As part of the relationship, Trustcomm will be providing network services to assist in building and developing teleport capabilities to service certain in-country markets internationally.

About TrustComm, Inc.: TrustComm is a world-class communications carrier providing reliable, managed, secure networks, broadband internet, VoIP, video; wireless and terrestrial communication services for the energy, enterprise and government industries, as well as for disaster recovery agencies. The maritime clients are managed through TrustComm’s subsidiary, SkyPort Maritime, Inc. also based in Houston.
